On October 18, 2025, the third WOF Taizhou International Optical Fair (referred to as the WOF Taizhou), guided by the China Optical Association and hosted by the Taizhou Eyewear Chamber of Commerce, was grandly inaugurated in Duqiao Eyewear City, China. The expo spanned a total area of 30,000 square meters, featuring six major exhibition halls and attracting over 300 enterprises.

The WOF Taizhou took place from October 18 to 20, lasting three days. The event was bustling with attendees, drawing domestic buyers from regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Fujian, along with international buyers from 52 countries and regions, including the USA, Italy, France, Russia, South Korea, and India. The total visitor count reached 15,200, marking a 6% increase compared to last year, with approximately 550 international buyers. This reflects the dual appeal of the expo’s internationalization and professionalism. The expo achieved remarkable results, with total intention orders amounting to approximately 190 million yuan, a 10% increase year-on-year, concluding with impressive figures and significant outcomes.

The WOF Taizhou featured dedicated zones such as the “Global Eyewear E-commerce Networking Area,” “Live Streaming Zone,” and “Cross-Border E-commerce Area.” Domestic and international e-commerce influencers participated in both live broadcasts and interactions. Representatives from major domestic e-commerce platforms like JD, Pinduoduo, and Douyin, as well as top international companies like Amazon, TEMU, and TikTok, were present to curate products. The venue also offered one-stop services such as rapid intellectual property rights protection and immediate tax refunds for departing buyers, further activating the synergy of “supply chain advantages + digital channels.”

In parallel, events such as the “China (Taizhou) Eyewear Industry E-commerce Development Forum,” “Global Cross-Border Resource Matching Conference,” “Eyewear Cross-Border E-commerce Forum,” and “Vision Trend Fashion Show” were held, providing a platform for industry professionals to exchange and collaborate. This facilitated connections between the latest design concepts and market trends, accelerating the branding and internationalization of Taizhou’s eyewear industry. Guests and buyers had the opportunity to visit local factories in Duqiao, gaining firsthand insight into the complete industrial ecosystem of Taizhou eyewear, from research and development to production and sales.

The successful organization of the 2025 WOF Taizhou International Optical Fair has not only established an effective cooperation and exchange platform for domestic eyewear enterprises and international buyers but has also injected new vitality into the innovative development of Taizhou and the national eyewear industry. Looking ahead, Taizhou will continue to uphold the principles of open cooperation, strengthening exchanges with domestic and international peers to jointly promote higher quality development in the eyewear industry!
