After announcing their global partnership in June, Kering eyewear and Chloé introduce the new Chloé spring summer 2021 eyewear collection, comprising a dynamic range of women’s sunglasses. This first release marks the beginning of an exclusive collaboration that aims to strengthen and expand Chloé’s standing in the luxury eyewear segment through Kering eyewear’s thoughtful strategy and distinguished approach to the industry.
Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion who believed in giving women the freedom to dare to be themselves. Today, Chloé continues to stand for six enduring values: femininity, free-spiritedness, modernity, effortlessness, sisterhood and grace.
Each frame within the new collection has been developed under the creative direction of Natacha Ramsay-Levi as a full expression of these values. The brand’s fascination for artisanal craftsmanship continues to inspire graceful combinations of polished materials and elemental details.
Unveiled on October 1st at the Chloé runway show during Paris fashion week, this next chapter includes new, unexpected shapes with intricate embellishments that capture the Maison’s unique balance between effortless femininity and contemporary flair.
Among the spring summer 21 novelties, the Gemma sunglasses make a striking statement with their soft geometric silhouettes in luminous metal. The graphic twist of oversized proportions conveys a sense of innate confidence, while the decorative tinted inlays on the front and the light flashed lenses add warmth and sensuality to the frames. Completing the look, delicate temples with acetate ends feature the engraved Chloé logo and drop-shaped opening – a signature detail designed for pairing with eyewear jewelry.
