The 4th Shenzhen International Optics Fair will open on June 16—ushering in a new era for the “Traditional + Smart” eyewear industry!

From June 16 to 18, the 4th Shenzhen International Optics Fair (SZIOF) will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian), in Halls 8 and 9. With an exhibition area of 22,500 square meters and more than 300 participating companies, this industry event brings together the latest eyewear designs and manufacturing processes while also highlighting the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the eyewear industry. Leveraging its dual strengths in design innovation and technology-driven manufacturing, Shenzhen is injecting new momentum into the traditional eyewear sector through smart technologies.

“Eyewear at the Core—Intelligence in Use”
This year’s expo features a Smart Eyewear Pavilion in Hall 8 and a Traditional Eyewear Pavilion in Hall 9. Hall 8 focuses on the smart eyewear industry chain. Exhibits include consumer and enterprise brands, lightweight injection-molded frames, precision optical-mechanical assembly, and complete-system ODM/OEM services—as well as automated micro-display alignment, laser calibration, AA autofocus, complete-system ATE testing, and production assembly line equipment. The hall also sets up a dedicated exhibition space for end-to-end content creation tools, including real-time 3D modeling, a spatial interaction engine, cloud rendering, and multi-device adaptation solutions.

Hall 9 showcases finished eyewear across all categories, including eyeglass frames, children’s eyewear, sunglasses, reading glasses, sports eyewear, and protective eyewear. Core materials are also fully represented, such as resin lenses, PC lenses, and polarized lenses. A specially arranged exhibition area featuring the latest works by well-known domestic and international eyewear designers covers creative design, concept eyewear, and high-end custom options—highlighting the deep foundation of traditional eyewear in design aesthetics and ergonomic performance.

More Than 100 International Procurement Delegations
In 2026, international trade matchmaking will be comprehensively upgraded! The organizing committee will take early steps by visiting key European eyewear production hubs, and will also attend international eyewear exhibitions in countries including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Thailand. Through in-depth engagement with international buyers, the committee will invite them to come to the Shenzhen International Eyewear Industry Expo for procurement. It is expected that more than 100 international procurement delegations will participate. These delegations include well-known eyewear brand owners, chain retailers, e-commerce platforms, and trade agents from Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. They will arrive with clear procurement needs and market expansion plans, and will be matched precisely with participating companies.

To improve matchmaking efficiency and outcomes, the organizing committee will build an online-and-offline integrated trade matchmaking platform:
Offline: set up dedicated matchmaking and negotiation areas, provide multilingual translation and business negotiation support, and ensure smooth communication between both sides.
Online: collect supply-and-demand information from both buyers and exhibitors in advance, and use intelligent matching to connect with interested clients.
