Some eyewear stores launch their own brands after achieving maturity in their business. One such brand we encountered at the recent MIDO Milan Eyewear Show is Holics Frame. Its parent brand, Holics Eyewear, was established in 2003 and is Korea’s first concept eyewear store. With over 20 years of accumulated industry experience and a deep understanding of market trends and customer preferences, Holics Eyewear launched its own brand, Holics Frame, in December 2023, aiming to merge design, comfort, and practicality in wear.

▲ Holics Eyewear sells renowned independent eyewear brands such as Mykita, Jacques Marie Mage, Rigards, Anne & Valentin, and Yellows Plus.

The core value of Holics Frame lies in providing an ultimate comfort experience for all-day wear, practical and versatile designs for daily use, and styles that highlight unique personalities. In terms of quality and craftsmanship, Holics Frame utilizes high-quality materials such as Takiron, Mazzucchelli acetate, and titanium. Moreover, all frames are manufactured in Japan, ensuring exceptional quality and durability. Holics Frame’s eyewear products feature three main characteristics: highly elastic temples for precise and comfortable fit; a robust hinge system to enhance durability; and a shape-memory alloy structure that offers excellent flexibility and shape retention.

Currently, Holics Frame has launched three series: the HP series, which combines high-quality acetate with titanium alloys; the HM series, which focuses on titanium alloy materials; and the HH series, which blends buffalo horn with titanium alloys. Additionally, the brand is developing frames made from lightweight, environmentally friendly, and body-safe magnesium metal, aiming to provide consumers with an even better wearing experience.

The brand also showcases thoughtful design in its eyewear cases. The HP and HM series come with genuine leather cases that gain richness over time, while the HH series features bamboo cases known for their natural breathability, making them ideal for storing buffalo horn frames. This use of natural materials fully reflects Holics Frame’s commitment to quality and authenticity.
