999.9 (Four Nines), the prestigious Japanese eyewear brand, Salvatore Ferragamo, the Italian luxury fashion brand and Marchon Eyewear, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of quality eyewear and sunwear, proudly announce an exclusive collaboration to develop, create and distribute a men’s optical collection.
The collection is entirely crafted by Four Nines in Japan, embodying an impeccable fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and Italian elegance. Composed of nine optical men styles, the collection is distinguished by a new distinctive hinge mechanism – exclusively inspired by the Ferragamo iconic Gancini – to elevate comfortability and durability of the frames.
The collection will be available from January 2021 at Four Nines boutiques and selected Salvatore Ferragamo’s Eyewear points of sales in Japan.
“Salvatore Ferragamo has been leading the world’s fashion industry for many years with its craftsmanship that is true to tradition and – at the same time – driven by innovation. Four Nines has been creating eyewear based on craftsmanship of function at the pursuit of the highest quality,” said Yuichi Iimura, CEO of Four Nines. “We are confident that the collaboration will create a synergetic effect that sublimates function, quality and design to a higher dimension, and will present a new possibility to the optical products at a global level. This collaboration is a significant opportunity and a stepping stone for Four Nines to reach the higher stage.”
“We are proud to work in collaboration with Salvatore Ferragamo and Four Nines to produce elegant, yet high performance men’s frames,” said Nicola Zotta, CEO & President of Marchon Eyewear, Inc. “This partnership will enable us to provide the ultimate synergy for a well-crafted optical collection.”
