SZIOF 2026 Opens to Packed Crowds Despite the Storm!

On June 16, despite a torrential downpour outside, the industry’s enthusiasm remained unquenched. The 4th Shenzhen International Optics Fair (SZIOF 2026) officially opened in Halls 8 and 9 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The opening day saw an immediate surge in visitors, with crowds packing both the interior and exterior of the venues as an industry storm dubbed the “AI Vision” made a powerful debut amidst the rain.

Spanning a total exhibition area of 22,500 square meters, the expo has brought together over 300 domestic and international optics and artificial intelligence enterprises. A series of more than ten featured events are running concurrently throughout the exhibition, including the “AI Eyewear Ecosystem Conference,” “Design Vanguard Dialogues,” and various supply-demand matchmaking sessions. As the first professional expo dedicated entirely to the full AI eyewear supply chain, its unique market positioning captured intense industry attention on day one, successfully sparking widespread buzz.

A standout highlight of the event was the active presence of international procurement delegations, which directly fueled trading momentum on the show floor. In the supply-demand matchmaking zone of Hall 9, buyers from India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions moved briskly between discussions, leaving the meeting areas fully packed. After personally testing the products, one Indian buyer placed an immediate, high-value on-site order of 2 million RMB for direct spot procurement, drawing waves of admiration from onlookers. Another Middle Eastern merchant remarked to the media: “The development of AI eyewear technology here is moving incredibly fast; we just had to come and see it for ourselves.”
